Bao Box

Bao Box was first created to promote cross-cultural curiosity. Providing children with an effective immersion experience in Chinese language and culture. A better way to teach without preaching, immersing children in an environment filled with curiosity and empathy, characteristics necessary for future leaders.

SOHO was approached by Bao Box to create a visual identity that was fresh, unique, and aligned with their prominence as an innovator of Chinese learning. Working in collaboration with the client, our design team were able to ideate Bao Box’s vision, encapsulating the client’s pillars of creativity, curiosity, and compassion.

Chinese language and culture learning.

Bao Box’s logo is a symbol of Chinese heritage across centuries. Historically known as Yuanbao, the boat-shaped logo mark is shaped to resemble the traditional Chinese money since the mid-13th century during the Yuan Dynasty. The Yuanbao was made of solid gold and its weight determined its value. Bao (寶/宝) in Chinese means treasure and baby childe. Bao Box is a knowledge treasure box for your kids to inspire curiosity about Chinese culture.
